2024 Inspenonline retirement summit holds tomorrow Thursday, April 25
All is set for the maiden Inspenonline Retirement Summit, holding tomorrow Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Radisson Hotel, Isaac John Street, Ikeja, Lagos.
The Convener of the Summit/Publisher Inspenonline, Chuks Udo Okonta, said the event will commenced by 9:00am, adding that everything has been put in place to achieve a successful outing.
He noted that the dignitaries expected at the event have confirmed attendance, even as he enjoined other members of the public to be part of the history of Inspenonline Retirement Summit.
According to him, one of the main highlights of the event would be the unveiling of Insurfeel Initiative and donation of insurance covers to 10 lucky attendees.
He submitted that the donation is part of Insurfeel Initiative’s one million insurance covers donation agenda.
Okonta stated that the organisation would be donating Uni-personal cover and School Fees Protection Plan to the uninsured at the event.
According to him, the Summit themed: Promoting Retirement Without Tears Through Insurance and Pension, would help set a new template for redefining retirement lifestyle.
Okonta submitted that the 2024 Inspenonline Retirement Summit, was designed to provide the requisite knowledge needed to aid the public to effectively plan and enter retirement life smiling and also help those in retirement rediscover themselves.
While calling on Nigerians to attend the summit in order to enrich their knowledge with retirement matters, he said “Why would you spend thousands of naira to attend retirement seminars, while you can get the needed knowledge from the summit free.”
He said the event, which he christened the University of Retirement, has Faculty Leaders, such as, Chairman of event, Past President Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN)/former Managing Director Sterling Assurance Limited, Fatai Lawal.
Those attending the summit as Special Guests of Honours are Commissioner for Insurance, Mr. Olorundare Sunday Thomas and Director General National Pension Commission (PenCom) Mrs. Aisha Dahir-Umar.
Past President Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria Sir. Muftau Oyegunle; Chairman, Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA) Mr. Olusegun Omosehin; Chief Executive Officer, Pension Fund Operators Association of Nigeria, Agudah Oguche; President Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria Edwin Igbiti; President Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers Babatunde Oguntade;Chairman, NSIA Insurance Limited, Dr. Adesegun Akin-Olugbade and former Managing Director Sanlam Nigeria, Val Ojumah, have accepted to attend the occasion as Special Guests.
Keynote Speaker is Founder & Managing Director, ZER Consulting Africa, Adeolu Adewumi-Zer.

He also implored the public to embrace the act of donating insurance to their family members and loved ones, stressing that it is cheaper to donate insurance than contribute money when mishap occurs.
