ARIAN football tournament 2024: AIICO, AXA Mansard, Mutual Benefits In Good Start
The 3rd Annual football tournament organised by the Association of Registered Insurance Agents of Nigeria (ARIAN), kicked off today at the Sports Complex of the Nigerian Armed Forces Resettlement Centre (NAFRC), Oshodi, with six teams participating.
The six teams include AXA Mansard, NSIA Insurance, AIICO Insurance , Mutual Benefits Assurance, Coronation Insurance and Zenith General Insurance.
While AIICO Insurance and AXA Mansard put up a sterling performance to win their first matches, Mutual Benefits Assurance got a draw.
AXA Mansard defeated NSIA Insurance by three goals to zero while at the last match of the day, AIICO thrashed Coronation Insurance PLC with 6-3.
Abiodun Nurudeen of AIICO Insurance PLC made history by scoring the first Hatrick in the history of the tournament.
Erstwhile, Mutual Benefits Assurance PLC, who was the maiden Edition Champion played a baren draw with Zenith General Insurance PLC.
The organiser of the tournament appreciated all the participating teams and their supporters for coordinating themselves in a very calm and professional manners.
