WAICA Releases Activities Calendar For 2024

The West Africa Insurance Companies Association (WAICA) has released its calendar of activities for 2024.

According to the WAICA Calendar 2024, WAICA Governing Council meeting will take place in February on a date to be announced later; WAICA Education Conference and Annual General Meeting (AGM) will hold from April 21 to 23, 2024 at Dawda Jawara International Conference Centre, Banjul, the Gambia.

While African Insurance Organisation (AIO) Conference comes up from June 1-5, 2024, at Windhoek, Namibia, the WAICA Internship Programme will be held in July on a date to be announced soon.

WAICA Webinar will take place in August and October. The dates for the two events will be announced later.

Also, WAICA Education Conference will hold in Accra, Ghana and the date for the event will be made known soon.

The Secretary-General/Chief Executive Officer of the Association, Mr. Davis Iyasere, said the calendar is released to keep members abreast of various activities of the Association during the year.

He said those dates which are yet to be fixed will be announced to members as they are unfolded by the Association.

WAICA was established to be a facilitator, to improve the image of the insurance industry in West Africa whilst assisting in the creation of an enabling environment for industries and economies in the sub-region.
