AIO Announces Change Of Venue, Date Of  27th African Reinsurance Forum

The 27th African reinsurance Forum, initially scheduled to hold from the 7th – 11th October in Libreville, Gabon, will now take place from the 30th September – 04th October 2023 in Tunisia.

This was contained in a statement signed by Jean Baptiste Ntukamazina, Secretary General African Insurance Organisation, and made available to this medium.

According to the statement, the change of venue of the 2023 African Reinsurance Forum of the African Insurance Organisation (AIO) came at the request of the authorities of the Republic of Gabon.

“In a letter to the Secretariat of the AIO, the President of the Association of Gabonese Insurance Companies informed that the decision was motivated by the general elections expected to hold in Gabon in the month of August.

“The letter indicated that the authorities of the country have decided to give the general elections priority attention. It further stated that the Republic of Gabon is ready to host the event any time in the nearest future,” the statement added.

The 27th African Reinsurance Forum, the statement stated, will therefore hold from the 30 September to 04 October 2023 at the LAICO Hotel in Tunis, Tunisia.
