ThriveAgric Named Lead Sponsor of Insurance September 2022 Holding Sept 29
ThriveAgric, one of the fastest growing technology-driven agricultural companies in Nigeria has been named the host and lead sponsor of Insurance September 2022 holding virtually on Thursday, September 29, 2022 at 11am to 1 pm WAT.
The theme of the event is “Insurance for Farmers by Farmers.”

Insurance September, which enters its 6th edition this year, was inaugurated in 2017 as an annual interactive event for insurance policyholders to share their experiences and expectations regarding the insurance industry in Nigeria. Outcomes of the sessions have continued to contribute to the positive changes that are happening across the insurance sector.
“The decision to focus on farmers is the result of about three years of interacting directly with farmers and providing answers to their seemingly unending questions about insurance and risk management. At this year’s session, we intend to demystify insurance for farmers and that is why our speakers are mostly farmers”. Gam-Ikon stated.
As Host and Lead Sponsor, ThriveAgric sees this collaboration as a veritable opportunity to “share knowledge, enlighten key industry players, and gain insights that can enable agricultural companies better manage the risks smallholder farmers face leveraging insurance”, said Michael Kadiri, Head, Risk Management & Compliance at ThriveAgric.

This year’s session which is entirely virtual allows many farmers across Nigeria to join from the comfort of their farms.
