Finidi George, the new Super Eagles manager, has named former national team mate, Daniel Amokachi, Olatunji Baruwa and two yet-to-be made known foreigners as his back room assistants.

In order to focus on his new role, the 53-year-old formally resigned from his position as head coach of NPFL champions Enyimba on Sunday.
His first official game in charge of the Super Eagles will be the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier against the Bafana Bafana of South Africa at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo on Friday, June 7.
