RMF 2018 National Convention Holds May 30-31 as Elders’ Congress ended May 26
This year’s National Convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Redeemer’s Men Fellowship (RMF) is set to hold from Wednesday May 30 to 31, 2018.
The venue for the convention as announced by the organizing committee is the Main Arena, RCCG’s Old Auditorium, Redemption Camp, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
At a recent meeting of the 65 Provinces in Lagos at Region 11, Lekki, Pastor Oluboba who represented the General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, encouraged men to attend the convention, saying they stand to gain a lot.
He said the convention will impact their lives positively, adding that “Our men will come back a better person that will impact our churches and this generation.”
Pastor Oluboba said modalities are being worked out for a hitch-free, eventful and a blessed moment in the presence of the Almighty God.
Redeemer’s Men Fellowship is a Christ- oriented ministry for men, by men who through the gospel of Jesus Christ emphasizes the Biblical importance of family, encourage personal growth, and reach out through love, prayer and fellowship.
In another development, the 2018 National Council of Elders’ Congress and Praise Night of RCCG Nigeria ended on Saturday, May 26 with a call to elders to draw closer to God, the Lord of Life.
In his welcome address, Chairman/National Coordinator, Pastor Obadiah Mulero, reminded elders of the promises of the Lord Jesus Christ for a new “life to those who follow Him, not just a different quality of life here and now but life beyond the grave – everlasting life.”
Pastor Obadiah appealed to elders to thank and appreciate God Almighty for His love, grace, mercy, goodness, loving kindness, abundant blessings, faithfulness and protection over our lives as well as to receive His word, His will and His purpose for our lives always.
This year’s Congress which is 17th edition was themed “The Lord of Life” – John 11:25-26, 39-41a and 43-44.
There was a talk session which featured health matters for elders and anger and they were advised to be conscious of their health.
Highlight of the event was the high praises rendered by choir groups of the 25 regions.
