PTAD Urges Police Pensioners Under DBS To Confirm Aliveness Status
The Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) has called on the Police Pensioners under the Defined Benefit Scheme (DBS) who are yet to confirm their aliveness using the “I Am Alive” confirmation solution to immediately do so.
The call was made today by the Directorate.
According to the statement, PTAD wishes to inform Police Pensioners under the Defined Benefit Scheme (DBS) who are yet to confirm their aliveness using the “I Am Alive” confirmation solution to immediately do so.
“The exercise which formally commenced with Police Pensioners on April 14th, 2023, gives a pensioner a 6-month window within which they should confirm that they are still alive and should continue to receive their monthly pension directly into their bank account.
“Please be informed that any Police Pensioner who has missed the 6-month window which ended October 13th, 2023, will be dropped from the October, 2023 monthly pension payroll. However, they will be automatically restored to the payroll once they confirm aliveness,” the statement stated.
The statement advised the Police Pensioners yet to confirm aliveness to visithttps://iamalive.ptad.gov.ng/ to see if their names are there in order to complete their “I Am Alive” confirmation, so that they can be restored on the November, 2023 payroll.
The statement also called on the Parastatals, Civil Service, Customs, Immigration and Prisons Pensioners to be guided by this information as their six-month window draws nearer.
