PTAD pays 603 ALSCON, 620 NAHCO ex-workers outstanding entitlements

Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD), said it has paid the the remaining outstanding 85% entitlement to 603 ex-workers of Aluminium Smelter Company of Nigeria (ALSCON).

According to the Executive Secretary, PTAD, Dr. Chioma Ejikeme, “Following successful documentation, verification and validation of the Ex-workers of Aluminium Smelter Company of Nigeria (ALSCON) by PTAD, 603 Ex-workers of the privatized agency were paid in December 2020.”

She re-assured pensioners that PTAD will continue with the payments of the inherited liabilities to support Pensioners’ well-being.

In another development, the Directorate has also paid 620 Ex-workers of the Nigeria Aviation Handing Company (NAHCO) one- off payment of their final entitlements.

The payments, according to PTAD, were made in 12 (Twelve) batches, in fulfillment  of the Federal Government efforts to sustain and improve the welfare of Pensioners under the Defined Benefit Scheme (DBS).
