PTAD Commissions Anambra Liaison Office

*Assures Pensioners of Hitch Free Pensions Process

Pensioners under the Defined Benefit Scheme (DBS) administered by the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) have been assured that there will not be any disruption in pension process.

This assurance was given by the Executive Secretary, Dr Chioma Nnenna Ejikeme during the official opening of PTAD liaison office at the Jerome Udoji State Secretariat in Awka, Anambra State.

She further assured that the opening of the office will further reduce the risk pensioners face when travelling to Abuja to complain or resolve pension related issues.

While reiterating the commitment by the Honourable Minister of State for Environment and Former Executive Secretary of PTAD, Barrister Sharon Ikeazor, in ensuring a seamless pensions process, She also advised pensioners not to deal with unauthorized persons who call them asking for money to help them resolve their complaints or process their outstanding pension payments as they may fall prey to pension scammers and fraudsters.

According  to her, “PTAD will never ask for money to process your pension”.

The National Vice President, NUP South East, High Chief Dr Emeka Onwumere and the National Chairman, Association of War Affected Police Officers,  South East/South South, Barrister Michael Udeh, commended PTAD for their commitment to restoring hope in Pension administration and also thanked the Directorate for bringing pension services closer to them.

With the opening of a state liaison office in Anambra,  PTAD now has nine offices located in the capitals of the following states: Adamawa, Edo, Enugu, Kaduna, Kano, Lagos, Sokoto and Yobe.
