PTAD announces suspension of Walk-In Verification for Pensioners
The Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate, PTAD, has announced the suspension of Walk-in Verification for Pensioners to allow it conclude computation exercise for monthly pension payment for those already verified.
The release by the Directorate recently said the suspension of the walk-in verification of Pensioners affects its Headquarters and state liaison offices for pensioners under the Defined Benefit Scheme (DBS).
The release reads: “The Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate hereby informs the general public that it is suspending walk-in verification of Pensioners at its HQ and state liaison offices for all pensioners under DBS.
“The suspension will affect pensioners under the Civil Service Pension Department (CSPD), the Police Pensions Department (PPD) and the Customs, Immigration and Prisons Pension Department (CIPPD).
“This is to allow PTAD conclude computation exercise for monthly pension payment due to pensioners who were verified during the concluded field exercises.
“For pensioners with genuine complaints, please send your complaints to complaints@ptad.gov.ng, info@ptad.gov.ng or you can upload your complaints on PTAD website complaint link on www.ptad.gov.ng.
“Please note, Next of Kins (NoKs) should send their claims to complaints@ptad.gov.ng or info@ptad.gov.ng to schedule an interview and verification.” PTAD advised.
