Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria Lagos Loses Chairman
The Lagos State Chapter of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria (PFN) has announced the passage to eternity of its Chairman, Bishop Olusola Ore.
Ore’s death came as a rude shock to many who have described the occurrence as fall of a gallant soldier of Christ, though his legacy lives on.
The 66-year-old, described as a caring and humorous leader, was the Presiding Bishop of Love Aglow Ministries Int’l, with the headquarters in Festac, Lagos, died in a Lagos hospital on Monday, October 25 after a short illness.
A statement issued Tuesday by Rev. Toyin Kehinde, PFN State Secretary, contains: “With gratitude to God for a life spent in the service of the master and the expansion of the kingdom of God, with heavy hearts the CWC of the Pentecostal Fellowship of Nigeria, Lagos Chapter wishes to the transition to glory of its Chairman, Bishop Dr. Olusola Ore J.P who passed on after a brief illness on Monday.
“We request all the brethren to remain prayerful and supportive of the family at this time. Further announcements will be made in due course.”
A statement on Love Aglow Ministries Int’l website, made known that the Accountant by profession appointed September 2015 as the Chairman, Lagos State Christian Pilgrim Welfare Board, gave his life to Christ in February 1980 on a crusade ground organised by All Nations Disciples Of Christ Inc. led by a renowned Evangelist, the late Evang. J. K. Solomon.
He was thereafter introduced to the Redeemed Christian Church Of God (RCCG) Ilorin in April 1980 two months after his conversion where he was ordained as a minister of the gospel in 1986 and served for 18 years as an Area Pastor (Ikeja Family).
He left in May 1998 to start Love Aglow Ministries Int’l in obedience to the mandate from the Lord to preach and demonstrate the love of God to the hurting world and this has taken him to few nations of the world spreading the message of the love of Christ.
