The Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB), Mr Fatai Adegbenro has lost his father, Chief Alhaji Ganiyu Adisa Adegbenro.
Late Chief Alhaji Ganiyu Adisa Adegbenro died early this morning (Saturday, April 18, 2020) in Lagos. He was aged 89.
The late businessman and philanthropist will be buried in his Lagos residence today, by 4pm. Alhaji Adegbenro was survived by wife, children, grand children and great grand children both within Nigeria and outside the Country.
During his lifetime, Pa Adegbenro was a foremost businessman, religious and community leader who led a life worthy of emulation.
Meanwhile, the President of the Council, Dr Mrs Bola Onigbogi has consoled the Executive Secretary of the Council, Mr Fatai Adegbenro on the painful demise of his father.
Dr Onigbogi in a message sent to the Executive Secretary on behalf of members of the Board and Council identified and grieved with the entire Adegbenro family on the loss of the family patriach, Late Chief Alh. Ganiyu Adisa, who demised early Saturday in Lagos at the age of 89.
According to Dr Onigbogi: “I imagine how saddening it is to lose a beloved father at this stage, but your consolation and that of the entire family should be that papa led a life of devotion to God, his family and the society at large. He would be sorely missed”.
Dr Onigbogi prayed the Almighty Allah to grant the soul of the deceased a repose and give the family fortitude to bear the painful loss.
