Naija Youth Sustainability Forum: Empowering Resourceful Youth for Sustainable Future Holds Today
The Lagos Business School Sustainability Centre has announced the upcoming Naija Youth Sustainability Forum, a dynamic platform aimed at connecting, inspiring, and empowering young individuals dedicated to promoting sustainable development in Nigeria.
The forum will take place today, Tuesday, November 28, 2023, by 10:00 am, at the Lagos Business School and Virtually.
The Naija Youth Sustainability Forum serves as a unique space for learning, dialogue, showcasing best practices, and fostering networking opportunities among young people from various sectors across Nigeria.
With the 2023 theme “The Resourceful Youth: Maximising Opportunities in Today’s Economy,” the forum will explore how young individuals can adapt to the ever-changing economic landscape, embrace technology, and cultivate entrepreneurial skills to drive positive change.

Young people today are essential stakeholders in Nigeria achieving her development aspirations including the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and the Africa Agenda 2063 Goals. This forum recognises their potential to contribute to socio-economic and environmental outcomes through innovation and creativity which they possess in abundance.
The Naija Youth Sustainability Forum will feature interactive discussions, inspiring speakers, and business case presentations to onboard the youths on sustainability awareness and equip them with the knowledge and tools. Confirmed speakers include Prof Chris Ogbechie, Dean, Lagos Business School; Prof Ndubisi Ekekwe, Chairman, Tekedia Capital; Oreva Atanya, Head, Sustainability, Lagos Business School; Maryam Apaokagi, Nigerian Comedian and Content Creator; Editi Effiong, CEO, Anakle Films; Iruka Ndubuizu, Director of Partnerships, Tony Elumelu Foundation; Shalom Chilaru Iboh, Founder, Renew Watts Technologies; Teniola Adedeji, CEO/Co-founder, Pharmarun; Seun Alley, CEO, Fez Delivery Co.
The forum is open to youths aged 18 – 35 years including undergraduates, young graduates, young entrepreneurs, young NGO founders, social sector and private sector professionals.
