NAICOM Approves 2023 Account of 44 Insurance Companies

National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), has approved the 2023 account of 44 insurance companies including Reinsurance and Takaful out of the 67 registered insurance companies operating in Nigeria.

This is contained in a circular, titled “Status Of 2023 Financial Statements Of Insurance Companies As At 23rd September 2024,” issued by the Commission on Monday, September 23, 2024 and posted on the Commission’s official website.

The total number of insurance companies licensed to operate in Nigeria is 67.
