NAIC Announces Passing Of Bashir Babajo
The Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC), has announced the passing to eternity of Mr. Bashir Babajo, its former Executive Director Operations.
Bashir who joined NAIC on 26 August 2020, died on 11 January 2025.
The Managing Director/CEO of the Corporation, Mrs. Folashade Joseph described Bashir as a dependable and reliable colleague.
This is contained in statement issued today by Mrs. Magdalene Omosimua, AGM, Corporate Affairs, NAIC.
According to the statement “It is with a deep sense of loss that the Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation announces the passing of Mr. Bashir Babajo, former Executive Director Operations, who died on ll January 2025. Bashir joined the Corporation on 26 August 2020.
“A condolence letter signed by the Managing Director/CEO, Mrs.
Folashade Joseph states “Bashir was a dependable and reliable colleague.
“He was dedicated and dutiful; his passion for the organization will be deeply missed.
“We extend our sincere condolences to his entire family and loved ones during this difficult time.””
The Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation is wholly – owned by the Federal Government of Nigeria, an insurance corporation company set up to specially provide agricultural risks insurance cover to Nigerian farmers.
