Mother of PenCom’s Spokesman, Peter Aghahowa, Commits to Mother’s earth in Benin

Late Madam Alice Mazehiagan Aghahowa, the mother of the spokesperson of National Pension Commission (PenCom), Mr Peter Aghahowa, has been buried.
She was buried on Saturday, May 8, 2021, at her residence, 236B, 2nd East Circular Road, Benin City.
Programme for the burial started on Thursday, May 6, with the Service of Song at her residence, 236B, 2nd East Circular Road, Benin City by 4 pm. It was attended by members of the community, family members and Church members including various women associations which Mama identified with while alive.
The funeral service which attracted a large crowd to pay Mama the last respect took place on Friday, May 7, at St. Peter Anglican Church, Lagos Street, Benin City by 10 am follows immediately by interment at her residence, 236B, 2nd East Circular Road, Benin City.
The special party organised in her honour at Emporium Event Centre, JBS Estate, Boundary Road, Benin City on Saturday, May 8 by family and mama’s friends also attracted a large crowd of people who gathered to celebrate the glorious exit of Late Alice Mazehiagan Aghahowa.
At the thanksgiving service in her honour on Sunday, May 9, 2021, at St Peter’s Anglican Church, Lagos Street, Benin City, the Church auditorium was filled to the capacity with people who came from far and near to thank God for mama’s exemplary lifestyle.
Late Mrs Alice Aghahowa passed on to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 6, 2021. She was 88 years old and survived by four children, 12 grandchildren and great-grandchildren and other relatives to mourn her.
