MAN Donates Computer To CICAN In Support Of Adequate Reportage Of Nigeria’s Real Sector
In appreciation of the support of the Commerce and Industry Correspondents Association of Nigeria (CICAN) for the publicity of the activities and programmes of Nigeria’s real sector, the Manufacturers Association of Nigeria (MAN) has donated a brand new Lenovo computer to the Association.
MAN’s donation is in fulfillment of its promise to the association sometime in recent past.
While presenting the computer to the executives of CICAN at MAN House, Ikeja, Lagos recently, Segun Ajayi-Kadir the DG, MAN, who represented MAN President, Otunba Francis Meshioye, said this is to identify and encourage the association in its efforts to giving timely and adequate reportage of Nigeria’s real sector.
CICAN Chairman, Charles Okonji, on behalf of the association thanked Meshioye for this kind gesture and assured him of more cordial relationship with MAN and coverage of the sector.
Speaking during the unveiling of the computer to members of CICAN at their secretariat, NACCIMA House Ikeja Lagos last Thursday, Okonji appealed to other private sector operators, parastatals, and banks to identify with the objectives of CICAN to enable it grow Nigeria’s real sector faster’, just as members expressed their excitement at the donation, describing it as a positive step towards fostering closer ties between the manufacturing sector and media in Nigeria.
He pointed out that CICAN had been having cordial relationship with MAN for a long time, stressing that such would continue for the good of both parties.
