LBSSC Set To Launch Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Value Chain Mapping Study
Lagos Business School Sustainability Centre (LBSSC) in partnership with other stakeholders has concluded plans to launch a new research study titled ‘Nigeria Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Value Chain Mapping.’
LBSSC in a statement yesterday said this becomes necessary “in light of the gaps identified in our response to the COVID-19 pandemic.”
“This industry study is designed to identify the services and products required in the Nigerian pharmaceutical manufacturing ecosystem, and the market size of each segment. It will also identify the main activities associated with local pharmaceutical manufacture, and thus, pinpoint performance improvement opportunities.
“As a leader and key stakeholder in Nigeria’s Healthcare Sector, we believe your contributions are of immense value. The launch meeting is a forum to share our plans with you and get your feedback to improve the study,” the statement added.
The launch meeting is scheduled for Thursday, June 17, 2021 by 11:00am – 2:00pm at the Lagos Business School, KM 22, Lekki-Epe Expressway, Ajah, Lagos State.
According to LBSSC, all COVID-19 Safety protocols will be strictly followed and participation is strictly on invitation.
The study, according to LBSSC, is an initiative of Bloom Public Health and LBS Sustainability Centre, it is delivered with the support of PharmaAccess Group, Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN) and the National Institute for Pharmaceutical Research and Development (NIPRD).
