Former Chief Servant Niger State to Speak at Lions Clubs District 404B2, District Governor’s Investiture Ceremony On Sunday 8th August At Eko Hotel and Suites

All is set for Lions Clubs in District 404B2 Nigeria as Dr. Muazu Babagida Aliyu, OON, CON the former Chief Servant of Niger State would be the guest speaker at the epoch-making event.

Dr. Aliyu would be speaking during the investiture ceremony of Lion Kayode Oshinuga as the District Governor cum Fundraising Ceremony in aid of  Humanitarian Projects and Services, especially the eye-catching international standard type of a proposed Eye Clinic at State Hospital, project worth of millions.

According to the District Governor, Lion Kayode Oshinuga, Lions Clubs International, the world largest service organization primary focus is to serve the community and making the world a better place.

He said the International President theme for this year is Service From The Heart, while the District’s is Service: Our Way Of Life. Noting that this Lions Service Year  Programmes will reflect on the theme, especially as Lions Motto is “We Serve”.

In his words, “It is, therefore, necessary to remind you great Leaders of our association, my fellow Lions, my family members, my professional colleagues and of course my friends and well-meaning Nigerians to start planning ahead of ‪Sunday, 8th August 2021‬”. Oshinuga said.

According to the District Governor, the core project for the Lions Year is a proposed Eye Clinic at State Hospital in Arowomole, Ogbomoso, Oyo State as Lions Clubs all over the world is known for Sight First.

Earlier the Investiture and Fundraising Planning Committee Chairperson, Lion Alhaji, Abiodun Adediji said, that the objective is to raise a good amount of funds to support the government in the humanitarian causes as government cannot do it all alone.

Hear him, ” it is impossible for any government to shoulder the responsibility of community service alone”.
“We need partnership and collaboration with the government to build the nation and making it a lovely place to live”. He submitted.

Other high-rank dignitaries attending the event are Her Excellency, Lion Engr. Noimot Salako Oyedele, Deputy Governor, Ogun State as the Chief Guest of Honour; Chairman of the Day, Hon. It’s not going to be the type that people call the mother or father of any ceremony, however, it is going to be a spectacular event to behold and cherished for a long time to come and, which one cannot afford to miss.
