FOC AWATSE Lauds NAIS Commandant For Facelifting Nigerian Army Intelligence School
The Flag Officer Commanding (FOC) Western Naval Command and Commander Joint Task Force Operation AWATSE, Rear Admiral MB Hassan, showered praise on the Commandant of the Nigerian Army Intelligence School (NAIS), Brigadier General Kingsley Nwoko, during the recent graduation ceremony of students from various courses.
The FOC lauded the remarkable innovations and enhancements implemented at the school, including upgrades in infrastructure, academic development, and staff welfare, all in alignment with the Chief of Army Staff’s Command Philosophy.
The graduating students, who completed courses such as the Young Officers Course, Counter Intelligence Officers Course, and Advanced Intelligence Operative Course, were commended for their dedication and commitment to learning.
The final exercise, which showcased modern security threats and utilized advanced technical apparatus, was particularly highlighted for its realistic and contemporary approach.
Acting Commandant Brigadier General Kingsley Nwoko expressed gratitude to the COAS and the Chief of Military Intelligence for their unwavering support and leadership. He emphasized the school’s mission to produce highly skilled and capable graduates capable of excelling in joint operational environments.
The ceremony was attended by distinguished guests, including high-ranking military officials and representatives from various security agencies and organizations.
The event featured the inspection of quarter guards, certificate presentations, and the awarding of prizes to outstanding students. Notable awards included the late Brigadier General DK Zirkushu Prize for the overall best student and the late Lieutenant Colonel AK Unobe Prize for excellence in Technical Intelligence.
