FAAN Fire Services Contain Spread Of Aircraft Fire.
In what could have resulted into a major fire disaster, officers of the ARFFS Rescue and Fire Fighting Services have once again displayed gallantry by putting out a fire that almost consumed an aircraft belonging to Overland Air.
The incident, which occurred on the 12th October, 2018, at the airline’s maintenance hangar was prevented from spreading to other parked aircraft and facilities.
No life was lost as a result of the incident and investigation into the cause of the incident has already begun.
