Entries Open For October 2024 CIIN Professional Examinations

The Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN) will on Monday, June 3, 2024, open its portal to receive entries from interested candidates for its October 2024 Professional Examinations.

The examination will take place in six centres across Africa, namely: Nigeria, Cameroun, Banjul, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Gigali.

According to the Registrar/CEO of the Institute, Mrs. Abimbola Tiamiyu,  entries are invited online at www.ciinigeria.org from interested persons within and outside the insurance Industry for the October, 2024 Professional Examinations of the Institute from Monday,  June 3, 2024, to Wednesday,  July 31, 2024.

“Also entries are invited from Professionals – Associates and Fellows for Post-AIIN 2024 October Diet Exams in Loss Adjusting Practice and Insurance Broking Practice from Monday, June 3, 2024 to Wednesday, July 31, 2024.

“Late registration starts from August 1, 2024, to Wednesday, August 14, 2024.

“For eligibility for entry, all persons desirous of sitting for the Institute’s Examination are required as a prerequisite to register as a member of the Institute.

“Candidates seeking to commence the examination must have passed the SSCE or GCE examinations with credits in five subjects including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings, while candidates for Post-AIIN must be holders of AIIN/FIIN or ACII/FCII.

“For examination entry guidelines and fees payable for the examination, candidates are advised to log into www.ciinigeria.org and proceed as will be directed,” she explained.

She stated that a request for a change of subject or centre will not be entertained after Wednesday, August 14, 2024, adding that withdrawal from examination after Wednesday,  August 14, 2024, is not allowed.

The CIIN CEO said hard copies of course books are available at the Secretariat and designated CIIN Chapters nationwide.

For those interested in tutorial classes, she said a list of accredited tutorial centres is available on the website through this link- http://ciinigeria.org/examinations/#study_centres.

“Rebates on fees are available to undergraduates of any discipline from any Government Accredited Institution in Nigeria.

“Candidates may also enquire at the various Chapters of the Institute nationwide and internationally. Information could be accessed on the Institute’s website www.ciinigeria.org,” she added.
