Ebony State Anti-Corruption Commission Seeks Synergy With EFCC
The Ebony State Public Complaints and Anti-Corruption Commission has sought the assistance and support of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission EFCC, in the realization of its mandate.
The chairman of the Commission, Chief Sabinus Nwankwegu made the plea on Thursday, July 13, during a courtesy visit to the Enugu Zonal Command of the Commission.
According to him, “we came here for two things, one to drink from your wealth of knowledge about corruption fighting and two is to seek your synergy to sanitizing the nation of corruption.”
In his response, the Zonal Commander, ACE I Aliyu Nuhu Naibi reiterated the need for Commissions and Agencies to work in partnership at at all levels to achieve their respective mandates.
“Our hands are open to not just working with you but to guide you further since you are operating from the state level,” Naibi said.
