DiamondXtra Season 16: Access Bank to give out N200m
In a bid to encourage active savings and reward its loyal customers, Access Bank Plc said it is set to reward 15,768 customers with N200 million in the season 16 of its DiamondXtra reward scheme.
The bank also revealed that a total of 26,896 customers have been rewarded with more than N6.51 billion thus far since the commencement of the promo in 2008.
Speaking at the launch of the season 16 of the reward scheme at Alaba International Market, Lagos, Mr. Bolarinwa Animashaun, Regional Sales Director for Retail in Lagos at Access Bank Plc, said a star prize of three brand new SUVs would be given out to three lucky customers in the quarterly draws in addition to other interesting gifts.
He said that apart from the quarterly draws, there will also be monthly draws, loyalty rewards, regional draws, onsite draws, free digital marketing training and digital cluster draws.
He said: “Over the last 15 years, we have been able to ensure customer loyalty; we have rewarded committed customers over time and showed that we are a bank that is ready to empower people and partner with people.
“Season 16 is interesting because first of all, we have seen a lot of opportunities to expand ourselves into digital space. This season we will be rewarding 15,768 customers and 10,000 of them will be digitally rewarded. This is almost half of what we have done over the last 15 years. We have taken in the possibilities of how digital opportunities can expand our business and also reward customers.
To be part of the reward scheme, Animashaun said that all a customer needs to do is to simply open a DiamondXtra account with a minimum balance of N5,000, adding that “multiples of N5,000 gives you more chances to win.”
To ensure transparency and accountability in the entire process, he said: “We have regulators – the National Lottery Regulatory Commission and Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission in place who monitor the draws to ensure transparency.”
