Delay In Payment Of  Consequential Pension Adjustment Arrears: PTAD Appeals For Understanding

The Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) has announced that it will soon commence payment of the three months outstanding arrears from the 2019 consequential pension adjustment for Civil Service Pensioners.

The Directorate appealed to the affected ministries for understanding and expressed regret for the delay which they said is due to circumstances beyond their control.

They promised to pay the arrears as soon as funds are made available.

According to the management of the Directorate, PTAD wishes to inform our esteemed pensioners from the Civil Service Pension Department that due to circumstances beyond our control, the Directorate has not been able to at this time offset the outstanding three months arrears as a result of the 2019 consequential adjustment to pensions in the first quarter of 2022.

‘’PTAD will defray the arrears as soon as the funds are made available.

‘’PTAD regrets any inconvenience this delay may have caused our pensioners.’’
