Covid-19 cases decline in Lagos, Kano; shoot up in Ogun, Bauchi as Nigeria records over 2500
Latest information from the desk of the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), comes a report of decline based on number of coronavirus cases in Kano and Lagos.
But Ogun record 24 – a tally higher than the usual.
For the second consecutive day, Kano and Lagos officially got less than the number of cases reported some five days ago.
According to NCDC on Sunday May 3, 2020, while Lagos has 39 cases, Kano recorded 29.
The country’s new cases in various states are 170 as follows; “39-Lagos, 29-Kano, 24-Ogun, 18-Bauchi, 15-Kaduna, 12-FCT, 12-Sokoto, 8-Katsina, 7-Borno, 3-Nasarawa, 2-Adamawa, 1-Oyo.
So far, a total of 2558 confirmed cases have been recorded in Nigeria. Out of them, 400 have been discharged, with 87 dead.
