Commissioner For Insurance Tasks Delegates To Seek New Relationships As 2021 AIO Conference: Begins In Lagos
The Commissioner for Insurance/Chief Executive Officer of National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), Mr Olorundare Sunday Thomas while welcoming foreign and local delegates to the 47th Africa Insurance Organization (AIO) conference, charged them to use the opportunity to establish new partnerships and make new relationships.
Thomas who made the call yesterday at the welcome cocktail which took place at the Eko Hotels & Suites stated that the new relationships and partnerships will not only enhance the effectiveness of the industry but will add value to insurance operations in the Continent.
Speaking on the effect of COVID-19, he said “The Pandemic was challenging to everything that has to do with human affairs, inspite of the pandemic we still have time to have this program.”
“I want to believe that in the course of this programme new relationships and partnerships will be established, friends will be made, I know that kicking off tomorrow effectively the event is going to add value to our operation. I want to thank you for this evening, let us make the best of the time we have tonight.”
He solicited the delegates for maximum cooperation.
In his goodwill message, the Group Managing Director, Leadway Assurance, Mr, Tunde Hassan-Odukale, urged the delegates to take the advantage of the conference to interact and network with one another for the advantage of the industry.
