Children’s Day 2023: DreamWorks Organizes Special Party For Children…Doles Out Gift Items
Officials of DreamWorks Integrated Technology Limited and its partner, Imose Technologies Limited, organisers of the event and Master Tijiani Farouk, winner of the spelling competition displaying the Imose Omotab 2 he won during the competition.
It was a moment of different exciting activities on Saturday, May 27 as the DreamWorks Integrated Technology Limited organized a special party for the children of Adeniyi Jones and its environs in commemoration of this year’s Children’s Day Celebration.
The event was part of the Company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).
Exciting prizes and gift items were won by children and parents who participated in various activities during the event.
In her opening remarks, Brand Manager, DreamWorks Integrated Technology Limited, Chinyere Aylor, gave the rationale behind the event.
“Today we are partnering with our partners to give back to the people of the society in appreciation of their patronage over the years and also creating exciting memories in the minds of our children and the parents.
“Today’s children’s day celebration is a testament to our commitment and resolve to put smiles in the faces of our children through exciting activities. We have so many exciting activities planned for you today. You will have the opportunity to do amazing things and every one of our guests will go home with something worthwhile.
“To all the children and families present here today, we extend a warm welcome. This celebration is dedicated to you, our future leaders, thinkers and innovators. We know that today’s activities will inspire you to ignite your curiosity and encourage you to greatness.
In an interview with journalists, when asked about her dream for Nigerian children, Chinyere Aylor said: “I will love to see a Nigeria where children are able to express themselves irrespective of the society standard, having the opportunity to explore different areas of their interest like Arts, Technology, Lifestyle not just the basic Mathematics which is also important but just allowing a child to have a more rounded experience while growing up, it makes you a better individual, it makes you a better adult.”

According to her, at DreamWorks, we believe in the power of technology to transform and empower the next generation which is also why we are investing so much in doing something for children and making sure that our children feel loved and cared for even though we are in business.
“Through our range of products we create interactive and educative services that ensure that every member of the society is encouraged to do with technological advancement even if you don’t have access to so much,” she stated.
Also speaking, the Head of Marketing at DreamWorks, Abiola Idowu, said: “The whole essence of this programme is for us to engage our CSR. This is our first-of-its-kind children’s day event. It is organized to make children happy and delighted and at the end of the day, we want to catch them young because it is very necessary for us to put that memory in their minds and the minds of their parents.
“Most of our products are adult products. Catching them young now is part of our priorities of making sure that when they grow up they know that DreamWorks were there for them while growing up.
“Basically, the event is for giving back and also enhancing our brand visibility, accessibility and availability,” Abiola said.
He said, “by next year we are going to make the event bigger and more exciting.”
The Regional Sales Manager, Imose Technologies Limited, Onyeka Patrick, said: “Today’s event is organized by DreamWorks. It is part of the Company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), a platform they are using to give back to the people of the society and we are here to partner with them to give back to the society.
“The Imose Omotab 2 just presented to the winners of the spelling competition is basically for kids. The tab has educational content called teasers. That teaser is bundled with different programmes, with the tab children can learn local content. They can learn things like Yoruba, French, English, and Mathematics, the same things they learn in their school. It also offers live classes.
“The tab also has different functions and features. It has a camera, it can also connect to Sim card which you can use to call your child. It also has a corner for games, but they are educative games. It also has a feature where children can learn about their societal environment, especially if the children are going through bullying in school, they will learn how to defend themselves and how to communicate with their parents better.
He enjoined the children to keep on being obedient to their parents and also listen to their teachers.
Speaking in an interview, the Head Teacher, Adeniyi Jones Primary School, Ikeja, where the event took place, Shobowale Kehinde, thanked the organizers for putting up the programme for the children.
She said “As a government school, we don’t have this opportunity before and the government cannot afford to do this for us. For our children, this is the first time they are experiencing a thing like this. You can see that they are really excited and I am very sure with the gifts and the exciting activities they are enjoying today, this will leave a lasting memory in the minds of the children and impact their educational lives positively.
She encouraged the children to take their education serious by reading their books especially now that graduates are roaming the streets looking for job even as she charged them not to relent.
According to her, this is Primary Education and it is the foundation. Foundation is very important. If you have good a primary education, it will help you to go higher in your academic pursuit.
She urged government at all levels and the parents to do everything within their powers to support children’s education.
One of the parents, who won an Imose Omotab 2, Mrs Enemor Loveth, expressed her excitement. “I am super excited because I really needed this for my baby boy. I can’t even express my happiness right now.”
While thanking Imose for the gift, she called on the children all over the world to be steadfast, read very hard not only to make their parents proud, but to be able to be what they want to be in future, adding that to achieve this, they need to work hard, remain focused and also believe in themselves.
Master Tijiani Farouk, student of Executive Care and Learning Centre, Ikeja, winner of the Spelling Competition, expressed his excitement being the winner of the competition. “I am very happy to be the winner.”
While thanking the organizers for the opportunity and the gift, he promised to make good use of the Imose Omotab 2.
