Azubuike Michael Now Brand Ambassador For Dreamworks

A leading Information and Communications Technology retail and distribution firm in Nigeria, Dreamworks Integrated System Limited, has appointed Azubuike Michael Egwu (Zubby Michael), a popular Nollywood actor and firm producer, as its brand ambassador, to drive the company’s expansion programme.
The formal signing of the partnership took place yesterday at the Dreamworks ultramodern showroom/office located on Adeniyi Jones Street, Ikeja, Lagos.
Speaking on the objective of the partnership, Brand Manager, Dreamworks, Aylor Chinyere, said the intention is to use the popularity of Zubby Michael as a well known Nigerian firm actor and as a youth influencer with a very large followership to drive the firm’s expansion plans.
According to her, “Having Mr. Azubuike (Zubby Michael) as our brand ambassador is a very interesting partnership for us because we understand that he has a very beautiful relationship with younger demographic which is part of our target audience. We also love that he is also known for his commitment to growing the community and if you watch his intagram or you have been following him over the years, you will see that he has organic and genuine relationship with his fans from television to social media, and we really want to tap into that popularity which is what the Dreamworks is all about because we like authentic relationship, and if you ever come in contact with the brand itself, we are very customer-centric, so we will like to put our customers forward.
“In this case we know that he is the best fit for us at this time, because he has that popularity, he has the drive, he has a large followership and because of the kind of person he is, people genuinely show him love, and that is something we want to leverage on.”

Speaking further she said, “Dreamworks has been in existing for almost 18 years now, we are Information and Communication Technology retail and distribution firm in Nigeria. We do service customers across Africa, because we do a lot of distribution and also retail but in the most recent year, we have been expanding into more retail that is through business to customer relationship.
“We are doing a lot of expansion into retail business through our E-commerce platform to our retail stores across the six geographical regions of the country. At present, we have 14 stores – in Lagos, in Abuja, and in Ibadan, and we are also working on launching new ones in Port Harcourt and Asaba.
“Dreamworks is known for its solid relationship over the year with Lintel, HP, and we have the support of these brands and that is why we are doing our expansion in terms of reaching out to more and more customers and also growing our consumer base.
“With the numbers of shops we have, we want to grow at exponential rate and if our customer want us to be in every street where necessary then it means that they are ready to support us there and we are going to meet our customers’ needs.”
Chinyere who described the Nigeria’s ICT market as a growing and vibrant market, said they really want to tap into that opportunity offers by the Nigerian market for their expansion plan, even as she noted challenges they are facing from distribution to logistic, and high rate of foreign exchange.
Responding, Zubby Michael thanked the company for choosing him as its brand ambassador and promised to do his best to ensure that the brand receive the needed boost.
