Another Male Adult Rescued, Five Bodies Recovered Dead – LASEMA
Another male adult has been reported rescued and five adult male bodies recovered dead from the rubble of the 21-storey building under construction which collapsed on Gerard Road, Ikoyi, Lagos on Monday.
Many construction workers and developers were feared trapped when the building crashed on them at about 2 pm.
According to the Lagos State Emergency Management Agency (LASEMA) the rescue operation teams at about a few minutes to 12:00am rescued another male adult amidst the rain and taken to the hospital for medical attention
Earlier two adult males and one adult female were rescued and were administered first aid by the Agency’s Paramedics.
LASEMA further said that five adult male bodies were recovered dead and handed over to the State Environmental Health Monitoring Unit, SEHMU.
