ANAN President Inaugurates Council Committees, Calls For Value Creation
The President and Chairman of Council, Association of National Accountants of Nigeria, Prof. Benjamin Chuka Osisioma has inaugurated Council Committees for the Association.
At the Inauguration Ceremony held at ANAN Headquarters in Abuja recently, the Committee Chairmen took the Oath of Allegiance and were formally sworn in.
The President charged them to uphold the ethics of the Association in discharging their duties for value creation and productivity while leveraging on the use of digital media as a platform for communication and engagement to achieve quality results.
The Committees inaugurated were: Advisory and Special Duties Committee; Committee on Establishment Matters; Committee on University-College Relations; Mandatory Continuing Professional Development Committee; Membership and Privileges Committee; Examinations and Conference Marking Committee; Education, Training and ICT Skills Committee; Branches and Benevolence Committee; Conferences, Workshops and Publicity Committee; Research and Technical Committee; Journal of Accounting Committee; Public Relations and Branding Committee and Publications/Editorial Board Committee.
Others were Anti-Corruption Compliance Team; Audit Committee; Board of Governors (Nigerian College of Accountancy); Body of Past Presidents; Ethics and Standards Committee; Disciplinary Tribunal; Endowment and Funds/Revenue Mobilization Committee; Finance and Establishment Committee; Government Relations and Liaison Committee; Imaging and Governance Committee; International Relations Committee; Law and Parliamentary Committee; Practicing and Quality Control Committee; Private Sector Relations Committee; Professional Women Accountants in Nigeria (PROWAN); Investigating Panel Committee; Strategy and Innovation Committee; Traditional Institutions Committee; Security Forum Committee and Traditional Institutions Committee.
