Allianz Nigeria Restates Commitments As Trusted Insurance Partner

Allianz Nigeria has assured its teeming clients and customers of its commitment to remain a trusted insurance partner for life.
Allianz Nigeria is a subsidiary of a 132 years old global brand; the Allianz Group based in Munich.
Allianz global is a global financial services provider with services predominantly in the insurance and asset management business.
Speaking during the launch of a family funeral insurance plan in Lagos, the Chief Executive Officer, Allianz Nigeria, Adeolu Adewumi-Zer, said the N18bn investment already made is a strong declaration that Allianz has come to stay to create value for the customers and all the stakeholders.
Adewumi-Zer said the position of the company to stay put in Nigeria and Africa is clear, “We are not moving out of Nigeria or Africa, we are here to stay.” Reinforcing the position of Allianz that they are not in Nigeria for a stop-off and divest afterwards but a commitment to explore and expand the insurance business horizon and stay in lane to grow the market for all stakeholders, her precise comment tells, “We are not here to test the waters.”
Explaining the global insurer’ pattern of doing business, she said Allianz is a long term partner and, “we deliver value to society, we need to be here and partner for life.”
Allianz Nigeria CEO said the terrain of its service is dotted with milestones and benchmarks in its service to secure people’s future, pointing out that its annuity service is a benchmark and replicated in other services on offer.
Allianz Nigeria Insurance Ltd is a composite Insurance company licensed to transact Life and Non-Life Insurance business in Nigeria, delivering a range of retail products such as Motor, Life, Home Insurance and corporate products to more than 30,000 customers.
Incorporated in 1993 as Union Assurance Company plc, the company was relaunched as Ensure Insurance plc in 2016. It was acquired in 2018 by Allianz and rebranded as Allianz Nigeria Insurance Ltd.
In 2017, the company generated gross written premiums of N7.67billion representing an 86% growth over 2016 (N4.19billion). In May 2018, Allianz Nigeria Insurance Ltd officially became a company of The Allianz Group.
