The Access Bank Project 111 Health Webinar holds on July 21, 2023, at 2pm West Africa Time (WAT) to discuss “Navigating Fibroids: From Diagnosis to Treatment.”
Interested Nigerians are encouraged to join the insightful health webinar aimed to explore the world of fibroids and the available treatment options.
According to the organizers, “whether you are newly diagnosed or seeking guidance on managing fibroids, this webinar is designed to provide comprehensive information and empower you to make informed decisions. We will discuss the signs, symptoms, and available non-surgical approaches to fibroid management.
“Additionally, we will address common misconceptions surrounding fibroid surgery, dispelling myths, and providing factual insights into its benefits, risks, and recovery process.
“By the end of this webinar, you will have a better understanding of fibroids and the surgical options available, helping you navigate your personal journey towards optimal health and well-being.”
The Speaker at the webinar will be Ms. Oyinkan Ogundele, the Founder of My Gynae Issues Foundation.
Ms Ogundele is a women’s health advocate; a 3-time fibroid survivor, and actively involved in women’s health care, patients’ rights, and advocacy. After a 3rd open myomectomy surgery, she was able to get rid of multiple Uterine Fibroids in November 2018.
She is passionate about helping women who suffer from reproductive health conditions. Her personal experience with fibroids fuelled her passion to start “My Gynae Issues Foundation” in 2020 which serves as a support system and advocacy group for fibroid sufferers and a community for women with reproductive health challenges.
