IoD Environmental Stakeholders Webinar holds April 15
THE Port Harcourt Branch of the Institute of Directors (IoD) of Nigeria has concluded plans for a Webinar event that will focus on how to raise awareness and improve understanding of environmental dimensions of sustainable development issues in Nigeria.
The topic considered for discussion at the event which will hold virtually on Thursday, April 15, 2021, by 11 am is “Environmental Degradation Issues & The Way forward”
The Keynote Speaker at the event will be the Senior Lecturer, Department of Geology, University of Port Harcourt, Dr Giadom Ferdinand.
Expected to serve as Panelists include Chairman/Chief Executive Officer, Niger Delta Project Consortium Limited, Chief (Prof) Jasper Jumbo; Hon. Commissioner, Ministry of Environment, Delta State, Hon. Onogba Christian; and Head of Environment, Stakeholder Democracy Network, Jese-Martin Manufor; while the Chairman, Dilann International Limited, Mr Innocent Henry will be the Moderator.
The stakeholders’ Forum will, amongst others, provide answers so some of these salient environmental questions: How do we raise awareness and improve understanding of environmental dimensions of sustainable development issues in Nigeria?
How do we facilitate an agenda that ensures individuals and communities are given fair attention by the government and other stakeholders?
