Late Madam Edima Bassey Udo goes home
The family of Bassey Udo of Ikot Odiong, Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State, has released the programme for the celebration of the glorious exit of their wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Madam Edima Bassey Udo.
Madam Edima who departed this world on January 31, 2018 was 82 years.
She was born into the family of Late Chief Udo Udo Nwa and Late Madam Mmayen Etok Udo both of Ikot Ambit, Ibiono Ibom L. G.A, in the year 1936.
Until her demise, she was a devout Christian, who lived an exemplary Christian life; who also played active roles in the Church. She was a member of National Women Rally, Group Women Rally and Assembly Women Rally.
A statement released by the family stated that her body will be committed to the mother earth on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 10.00 am.
The interment which will be conducted by The Mount Zion Christ Church, Group Fourteen, Ikot Odiong, will take place at the Civic Center, Ikot Odiong, Ibiono Ibom.
She left behind a host of others including her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, relatives, in-laws amongst others to celebrate her glorious exit.
Those expected to officiate at the ceremony include: Rev. Edet Okon Sam; Rev. Ubon Obong; Pastor Blessing Bassey and other Ministers of God.
