PTAD Suspends Walk-In Verification For Pensioners
Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) has announced suspension of walk-in verification for pensioners.
The reason for the suspension, according to PTAD is to allow them to conclude computation exercise for monthly pension due to recently verified pensioners.
This was contained in a recent press release published by the Directorate in its website (http://www.ptad.gov.ng).
“The general public is hereby informed that the Pension Transitional Arrangement Directorate (PTAD) will no longer receive applications for Walk-In verification from all unverified pensioners and Next of kin(s) at its HQ or State Liaison Offices.
“This is to allow PTAD conclude computation exercise for monthly pension payment due to pensioners who were verified during the just concluded field exercises,” it said.
The department to be affected by the new development include: Civil Service Pensions Department (CSPD); Police Pensions Department (PPD) and Customs, Immigration and Prisons Pension Department (CIPPD).
