Ikeja Metro Lions Club donates Environmental equipment
One of the leading clubs in District 404B2 Nigeria, Ikeja Metro Lions Club has donated environmental cleaning items to Abibat Mogaji Market in Ogba area of Lagos State.
This effort was in the bid to join the government in ensuring cleaning environment and a green Lagos State.
According to the club president, Lion Evelyn Agbonifo-Fasakin, the whole essence is to imbibe the culture of cleanliness at the market area, especially as the whole world stand still due to the infectious disease Covid-19 pandemic, which has caused death across the world.
She further appreciated the Iyaloja who is the head of the market for the opportunity to serve community through the market place.
For Iyaloja Mrs. Folashade Solanke, the market place is being cleaned every day because according to her market place should be seen looking neat to attract people to always come in and purchase their goods and food stuffs.
“We will judiciously make use of the cleaning items donated to us by this kind hearted club” she promised.
The members turned out in large numbers to carry out the July service activity. And after the activity, certificate of participation were presented to all members who took part in the Environmental excerise.
