SECCIMA Advocates for Cultural Integration in Nigeria

The South East Chambers of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture has advocated for mutual respect among all cultural groups in Nigeria to enhance economic stability of the nation.
Speaking at the 2020 Cultural Day Celebration of ELDER JUSTICE ONUH INTERNATIONAL SCHOOLS, Aba, Abia State, the Director General of SECCIMA, Henry Nduka-Awuregu emphasized on the need for cultural and ethnic tolerance in Nigeria as a way of ensuring peace, prosperity and progress of our nation.
Nduka-Awuregu commended Elder Justice Onuh International Schools, where he is also a Founding Director, for the way and manner they inculcated the love and respect for diverse cultures of Nigeria among their students.
The SECCIMA DG said, “for our businesses to thrive in every part of Nigeria, we must appreciate the unity in our diversity. It is an advantage that we are multi cultural in this country which if well managed can result to multiple opportunity for economic growth.”
The Director General used the opportunity to invite Nigerians to the forthcoming Enugu International Trade Fair scheduled to hold in Enugu from 13th to 23rd of March 2020. He encouraged exhibitors to seize the opportunity of the fair to showcase not only goods and services but our various culture also as to consolidate our national unity.
