Hardship: NEMA Warehouse Looted in FCT
Some residents, under the guise of the prevailing hardship in the country, have looted one of the warehouses belonging to the National Emergency Management Agency of Nigeria (NEMA) in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), carting away foodstuffs.
The warehouse located in Karimo, Phase 3 Region of the FCT, Abuja, was raided Sunday morning.
THISDAY gathered that the police were deployed in the scene to prevent a total breakdown of law.
The spokesperson for the FCT Police Command, Josephine Adeh, confirmed the incident.
She, however, disclosed that the situation had been brought under control.
