Others who arrived early at the venue of the conference were the delegates from Unitrust Insurance Limited and the Director-General, Chartered Insurance Institute of Nigeria (CIIN), Mrs. Abimbola Tiamiyu.
The hall for the event which is beautifully decorated in conformity with the standard expected of an event of this magnitude also has the presence of security operatives.
This year’s conference with the theme “Redefining Safety – Insurance Solutions For Public Buildings and Buildings Under Construction,” will be declared open this morning by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Mr Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
The theme paper of the conference will be presented by the Chairman, UBA Group, Mr. Tony Elumelu which will focus on how to redefine safety standards with attention to insurance solutions for public buildings and buildings under construction as well as on how to ensure enforcement of the compulsory insurances.
Expected to lead other top government functionaries to the occasion is the Minister of Finance, Mr. Olawale Edun who is the Chief Host, while the the Commissioner/Chief Executive Officer, National Insurance Commission (NAICOM), Mr. Olorundare Sunday Thomas will be on hand as the Host to welcome guests and delegates to the conference.
Apart from Mr. Elumelu the theme paper presented, others expected to speak at the occasion include the Executive Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu; the President, Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers (NIESV) Mr Johnbull Amayaebo, Chief Executive Officer, FSD Africa, Mr. Mark Napie .
Top government functionaries expected to attend the epoch event are the Federal Ministers, State Governors, State Commissioners of Works and Housing, and Dignified Royal Fathers.
