The Newly elected Executive of the Nigerian Insurers Association, led by its Chairman, Mr. Tope Smart has paid an official visit to the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB).
This is the first official by the new NIA chairman to NCRIB after his investiture in Lagos on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.
The NIA team led by Mr. Smart was received at the Secretariat of NCRIB by the Council’s President, Mr. Shola Tinubu.
The discussions at the visit, the revealer learnt, centered on mutual working relationships between the two bodies that will engender positive growth in the nation’s insurance industry.
After extensive discussions which we believe bordered on the way forward for the Nigerian insurance industry and the nation’s economy as a whole just as the two associations had agreed to work together for the better of the industry and that of the economy generally.
The Nigerian Insurers Association (NIA) is the umbrella association of all insurance companies in Nigeria, while the Nigerian Council of Registered Insurance Brokers (NCRIB) is the body that regulates insurance broking activities in Nigeria.
