Leo Clubs Donate Hearing Aids To Patients In LASUTH

Leo Clubs under District 404B2 Nigeria has donated hearing aids to some patients with hearing impairment at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH).
The donation was made recently as parts of their humanitarian services/activities for 2017/2018 service year.
Speaking to therevealerng.com shortly after making the donation to the Head of Department (HOD), Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Clinic, LASUTH Dr. Adekoye, Leo President, Miss Eunice Matthew, said the donation was part of the clubs’ contribution for the betterment of the society.
“Our little donation is our contribution to impact lives and improve our communities. A lot of people are sick and some are facing one challenge or the other and they need help and assistance from others. Leo is a service organaisation and our mission is to render help to the sick, the needy and the vulnerable for the betterment of our society,” the President said.
She used the opportunity to appeal to other youths in the society to imbibe selfless lifestyle by always being their brother’s keeper, adding that “The help you render to someone today, may make ways for your blessings tomorrow.”
She said apart from the donation to the ENT Clinic in LASUTH, they have made other donations to schools and less privilege organizations as well as rendered humanitarian/community development oriented services.
Speaking while receiving the donation from Leo President, HOD, ENT Clinic, LASUTH, thanked Leos for their kind gesture and appealed for more of such donations from the kind hearted individuals, institutions and good corporate entities to complement government effort at ensuring the wellbeing of its citizenry even as he promised to make proper use of the items.
Leo Club is the youth wing of the International Association of Lions Clubs.
