5th Dimension Entertainment Calls For Promotion of Gospel Music, Plans 1,000 Mass Choir
5th Dimension Entertainment is on the forefront of discovering, nurturing and promoting young Gospel artist who will propagate the message of Christ through music.
In a bid to achieve this, the Entertainment firm has organized series of auditions and talents-hunt programme to discover talented gospel artists in Nigeria.
They are also calling on the well meaning Nigerians to support the promotion of gospel music in Nigeria, even as they are working towards the establishment of 1,000 mass choir whose members will be selected from the 36 States of the Federation.
According to 5th Dimension Entertainment, “We have noticed that secular music has more audience and promoters as compared to Gospel music. Whereas many talented youths began in church, they have ended up in secular music simply because, the denominations and Talent hunts, music promoters etc. have not invested in Gospel music.
“5th Dimension Entertainment has seen the need to discover, nurture and promote young Gospel artist to propagate the message of Christ through music.
“That is why we have organised a series of auditions to discover promising talents who we can nurture on the path to becoming one of Nigeria’s future exports when it comes to Gospel music.
“In the first phase of the event which occurred on 18th June, 2022, we invited close to 200 contestants,
“This was narrowed down to 21 contestants who have vied for a place at the top 5 spots. The event took place on 16th July 2022
“The next chapter is to amass a 1,000 choir selected from 36 states of the federation. This is a great task.
“Thats why We are calling on well meaning Nigerians who believe that Gospel music should not play second fiddle to support, sponsor and promote Gospel music in Nigeria,” they told our correspondent.
